Did you know that pink, especially light pink can be used as a neutral? Pink is as much of a neutral as light gray and white. Not only is the color beautiful and timeless, but if you are a glam girl like me, pink is a color you must at least try to add to your space!

Pink comes in a variety of shades; from the lightest light pinks to the deepest rose, and magenta shades. You can add pops of pink to brighten your space. Or go bold with a pink accent wall or a large accent piece to anchor your room. Pink looks beautiful in the kitchen, living room, bedroom and really any room in your home. I have read a few blogs that say pink is going out of style in 2023. But I say pink is still in for the modern glam home. It all comes down to what you like.

Start by selecting your shade

As mentioned above pink comes in a variety of shades. Light pinks work well with grays and creamy whites and deeper shades of pink are great for those who like a more bold color palate. But no matter what your taste, you can find the perfect shade of pink to add that extra punch of color to any room in your modern glam or maximalist glam home.

Unsure or uncertain about using pink in your home? Start small. Buy a set of pink toss pillows or pillow covers. If you don't like them, you can always change them but it is a great way to try a small pop of the color before committing to adding more. Another idea is to use the color in a room you don't use often like the guest bedroom or bath. Again start with light pops of the color before you fully commit. The good thing about pink is that it doesn't take much of it to brighten a space. Think about. Look through a few design magazines or websites, or visit Pinterest for a few ideas. If you see something you like, then give pink a try for your modern glam home!
